Learning and demonstration sites

A group formed about the theme of demonstration sites and networks of demonstration sites to give positive examples and support learning about permaculture. We were asked to consider

• the current situation
• the challenges
• opportunities
• What we would like to achieve at the IPC and where we would like support.

These were the thoughts and suggestions:
Longer curriculums
International trans-local PDCs online. Sharing from on the ground PDCs
Support the bridge with the media, how can we support people to expand to the media
From the PC community needed, Albert Bates, invisible structures
Attitudes and cohesiveness.
Different understanding of money, especially regards funding demo sites
Get the invisible process going well
Acknowledge that the teacher is in everyone – learn from different people
Bridge gap with academics
